Our software "WhiteBox"(Fluxion) is a comprehensive application integrating note-taking and reading functionalities, designed to provide users with an efficient and convenient recording and reading experience.

"WhiteBox" does not offer backend services and does not collect or store any user data. All note data is stored locally on the device by default, ensuring privacy and security. To enable cross-device synchronization, "WhiteBox" utilizes Apple CloudKit to store data on Apple's servers. The data is encrypted, accessible and manageable only by the user.

We prioritize user data security and privacy protection. The software provides a configuration feature for large language models (LLMs), allowing users to leverage these models for creative and auxiliary tasks. The LLM services are provided by third-party providers selected and configured by users. We do not obtain, store, or relay any dialogue data related to LLM interactions. Data exchanges between users and LLM service providers occur directly between user devices and the providers. We assume no responsibility for the processing or usage of such data.

  • Data Storage: All note data is stored locally by default and synchronized across devices via Apple CloudKit. Users are responsible for managing their iCloud storage space. We recommend avoiding storing easily regenerable data to prevent excessive storage usage.
  • Third-party Services: The LLM configuration feature requires users to obtain their own API keys. Data interactions occur directly between user devices and the configured service providers; we do not store or relay any dialogue data.
  • Data Security: Leveraging the iOS sandbox mechanism , data storage is isolated and secure. Core data is preserved only in the Documents directory (supports iTunes automatic backup) and CloudKit's encrypted storage.
  • Service Termination: Local data will be erased upon app uninstallation. Cloud data must be manually deleted by the user through iCloud settings.
